Booking a stay at one of EcoZonia's ecodges implies unconditional acceptance of these general terms and conditions.
The customer acknowledges that they have the capacity to enter into a contract, i.e. that they are at least 18 years of age, are legally capable of entering into a contract and are not under guardianship or trusteeship.
The information on our website or in the EcoZonia brochure is subject to change at any time, which will be brought to the customer's attention prior to confirmation of the booking.
These terms and conditions are subject to change in the event of special promotions or during certain periods of the year, in which case specific conditions will be specified in documentation published specifically for that occasion.

1 GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1.1 Definition of a holiday package
The holiday package includes two days' entry to the park, one night's accommodation, dinner and breakfast.
1.2 Booking
Bookings must be made online on our website www.ecozonia.fr. A booking number will be assigned.
After consulting the calendar, indicate the date of your stay, the number of adults, children and children under 3 years of age, the services required and your acceptance of the GTC.
All bookings are made in your name and will be confirmed by email upon receipt of payment. Confirmation of your order implies acceptance of these terms and conditions, acknowledgement that you have read and understood them, and waiver of your right to invoke your own terms and conditions or any other terms and conditions.
1.3 Rates
The prices quoted are in euros, including VAT. Any change in the rate may be reflected in the price of the services. EcoZonia reserves the right to modify its prices. The prices indicated include booking fees, accommodation, dinner, breakfast and two days' entry to the park.
Prices do not include the £200 deposit by bank card, which will be requested on arrival, or any extras.
All minors must be accompanied by an adult and must be able to prove their age. Proof of age may be requested before or on arrival. If such proof is not provided, the adult rate will apply.
1.4 Payment
When booking your stay, you will be asked to pay for the entire service by credit card on our website www.ecozonia.fr. Gift vouchers must be paid for in full at the time of ordering. If payment is not received within 7 days, the booking will be deemed to have been cancelled by the customer.
1.5 Ecolodges
The ecolodges are only accessible to those named on the booking from 4pm and must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure.
However, customers may arrive and depart at a time of their choosing (according to EcoZonia's opening hours, which can be found on the website) in order to enjoy the park.
The ecolodges on offer are described by their characteristics, texts, sketches and photos on the website www.ecozonia.fr. The illustrations describe the ecolodges as accurately as possible but cannot guarantee a perfect likeness.
The ecolodges are equipped and rented for 2 to 7 people (including children and babies). It is forbidden to exceed the maximum capacity.
1.6 Modification and/or cancellation of your stay by you
Any modification to your booking in terms of date, ecolodge, or number of people must be approved by us. This may incur additional charges. All modification requests must be made via email to: ecolodge@ecozonia.fr
For any stay cancelled and/or modified more than 45 days before the arrival date, the equivalent of 35% of your stay will be retained. The remaining 65% will be refunded within 7 days to the credit card used to make the booking.
In the event of cancellation within 45 days of your arrival, the full amount of your stay will be retained. In the event of a no-show, no refund will be possible. Gift vouchers are non-refundable.
If you have paid for your stay with a Master Gold or Visa Premier card, you will automatically benefit from cancellation insurance (in the event of cancellation due to a serious problem, please refer to your bank).
1.7 Cancellation of your stay by EcoZonia
In the event of bad weather or other events beyond our control, the management reserves the right to cancel your stay (even on the day of arrival) for safety reasons.
In this case, we will offer to postpone your stay for up to 12 months.
If it is not possible to postpone, you will be refunded the full amount paid; no other compensation may be claimed (transport costs, etc.).
1.8 Internal rules
All guests must comply with the internal rules displayed in the ecolodges and in the park.
The EcoZonia team reserves the right to exclude anyone who does not comply with our rules. Expulsion shall not give rise to any refund.
1.9 Online sales on the website
EcoZonia will archive purchase orders and invoices on a reliable and durable medium constituting a faithful copy in accordance with the provisions of Article 1348 of the Civil Code.
The computerised records shall be considered by the parties as proof of communications, orders, payments and transactions between the parties.
EcoZonia, in the online sales process, is only bound by an obligation of means; it cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from the use of the internet network such as loss of data, intrusion, viruses, service, or other unintentional problems.
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, rectify and oppose any personal data concerning you. EcoZonia reserves the right to collect information about buyers, including through the use of cookies.
1.10 Complaints
Any complaints must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 15 days of the stay to the following address: EcoZonia – Ecolodges – La Coume del Roc RD59 – 66 600 Cases de Pène.
In order to avoid any dispute, proof of visit including the number of participants must be provided with the complaint.
EcoZonia cannot be held liable in the event that failure to comply with the obligations set out herein is due to unforeseeable circumstances, force majeure or the actions of the customer or any person outside the organisation, the course of the stay and the services provided on that occasion.
Force majeure: an unforeseeable and insurmountable event that prevents a person from fulfilling their obligations. It is an event beyond the control of that person or organisation.
1.11 Insurance
If damage is found, you will be held civilly liable.
1.12 Disputes/applicable law
The applicable law is French law.
For convenience, these terms and conditions may be translated into English. However, in the event of a dispute, only the French text shall be deemed authentic.
In the event of a dispute, and in the absence of an amicable agreement between the parties, the court with territorial jurisdiction shall be the court of first instance of Perpignan.
1.13 Animals
Our animal friends are not allowed in the ecolodges or in the park. Only guide dogs are allowed.
1.14 Valuables
EcoZonia accepts no responsibility for loss or theft.
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the terms and conditions of sale for the rate you have booked, the gift voucher, the booking request and the specific terms and conditions express the entirety of the obligations of the parties.
No general or specific terms and conditions communicated by you may be incorporated into these general terms and conditions.
2 ECOLODGE RULES AND REGULATIONS
These ecolodge rules and regulations set out the conditions of accommodation at EcoZonia. They apply to all guests who have booked one or more nights. They supplement the park's rules and regulations, emergency plan and evacuation plan.
2.1 Conditions of stay
The ecolodges can be booked all year round except on Wednesdays and Thursdays before the Christmas holidays.
Our guests have access to their ecolodge from 4pm and must leave by 11am on the morning of their departure. During their stay, guests have access to the ecolodge area. For safety reasons, guests are not permitted to leave the ecolodge at night. You will be given the opening hours upon arrival. Access to the park is possible as soon as it opens. Once you leave the park, you cannot re-enter without prior authorisation from the ticket office/shop.
2.2 Safety/fire prevention instructions
It is strictly forbidden to climb over barriers and handrails, enter service areas or enter animal enclosures. Prohibition, warning and information signs must be strictly observed.
It is forbidden to light any type of fire in the ecolodges.
Our ecolodges are equipped with smoke detectors.
Located in a high-risk area, the entire EcoZonia site (including the ecolodges) is non-smoking.
2.3 Evacuation
In case of emergency or on the recommendation of park staff, evacuation of the ecolodges will be carried out in accordance with the park's evacuation plan.
2.4 Supervision
Each ecolodge is equipped with an individual key provided upon arrival. When guests are absent, ecolodges must be systematically locked to protect personal belongings. The park declines all responsibility for theft or loss of personal belongings within the accommodation.
Children are the sole responsibility of their parents at all times. They must be supervised constantly and carefully, in particular to ensure that they comply with these rules and regulations.
Unaccompanied children are not allowed to access the park's visitor circuit on their own.
When the park is closed, the ecolodges are supervised by an EcoZonia manager on duty who lives on site in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation area. This person can be contacted at any time in case of emergency on 06 70 82 9544.
2.5 Visibility of animals
Animals are living beings. Although they are generally visible from the ecolodges, they may not be visible for reasons related to weather, health, care, or simply the animal's behaviour. We cannot guarantee permanent visibility. In order to increase the likelihood of seeing the animals while respecting their well-being, EcoZonia has installed four cameras in each enclosure, allowing guests to view areas of the enclosure that are not visible from the ecolodge.
2.6 Respect for animals
For the animals' peace and quiet, it is strictly forbidden to run, shout, knock on the facilities (including windows), excite the animals, throw objects or attempt to feed the animals.
2.7 Damage to or theft of equipment
It is essential to respect and make proper use of equipment such as stage sets, board games, plants, educational materials, etc.
An inventory will be carried out at the end of each stay. Any damage found will be invoiced at the value of the damage.
2.8 Introduction of illegal equipment and substances
It is forbidden to bring illegal or dangerous substances or equipment into the park and eco-lodges. Such as weapons, drugs, alcohol or dangerous equipment.
2.9 Rules of conduct
Rolling objects such as rollerblades, bicycles and scooters are prohibited (except for prams and wheelchairs). Only EcoZonia staff and emergency services are authorised to use rolling and/or motorised vehicles (scooters, bicycles, cars or buggies).
Our guests are required to behave appropriately towards our staff, other guests, animals and equipment. Please respect the peace and quiet of other ecolodges. No excessive behaviour will be tolerated (noise at night, drunkenness).
Terms and conditions of sale - EcoZonia: EcoParc
- PRELIMINARY PROVISIONS
1.1 General
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) apply to all sales transactions concluded by EcoZonia with non-professional travelers. Depending on the type of product sold, specific conditions apply. No special condition may prevail over the general terms and conditions of sale unless formally and expressly accepted in writing by the seller. Any contrary condition set by the buyer shall therefore, in the absence of express acceptance, be unenforceable against the seller, regardless of when it may have been brought to their attention.
1.2 Legal Capacity
Any client of SAS EcoZonia acknowledges having the legal capacity to contract under the conditions described in the terms of sale presented below, meaning being of legal age and not under guardianship or curatorship. Placing an order implies full and unconditional acceptance by the buyer of these GTCS.
1.3 Display of Prices
All prices are displayed in Euros. VAT is always included. The applicable tourist tax must be added on site.
1.4 Visit Guarantee
EcoZonia is open 364 days a year. One annual closing day is set for the last Thursday before the national school holidays of the end-of-year festive season.
If certain parts of the park are not accessible (e.g., due to construction), this partial closure is announced before checkout through signage and cannot give rise to any refund.
No entrance ticket is refunded, nor subject to a price adjustment, for climate-related reasons.
1.5 Force Majeure
Force majeure refers to any event external to the parties that is both unforeseeable and insurmountable, preventing either SAS EcoZonia, or the client, or the agency, or service providers involved in the outing or trip, from fulfilling all or part of their contractual obligations. By express agreement, this includes staff strikes, sanitary or veterinary reasons, insurrection, riots, and any prohibition issued by governmental or public authorities, as well as extreme weather conditions. It is expressly agreed that force majeure suspends, for the parties, the execution of their respective obligations. In parallel, each party bears all expenses incumbent upon them that result from the force majeure event: consequently, the client shall bear alone any additional costs that may be incurred to allow the continuation of their visit or stay.
1.6 Data Protection
In application of Law 78-17 known as “Informatique et Libertés,” clients are informed that their order is subject to computerized personal data processing. The right of access and rectification guaranteed by law may be exercised with SAS EcoZonia at its Headquarters.
1.7 Internal Regulations
The Internal Regulations are freely available for consultation at reception. In case of non-compliance with the provisions of the Internal Regulations, the Emergency Plan and/or the Evacuation Plan, staff are authorized to expel any offender without possible recourse. Clients expelled under such circumstances may not, in any case, obtain a refund for the Services.
1.8 Complaints
Any incident occurring on the premises of SAS EcoZonia (including the parking area) that may engage its Liability must be reported to the site’s reception services on the same day as the incident. Any other complaint must be submitted within 15 days following the subject of the complaint. All complaints must be sent to contact@ecozonia.fr
1.9 Disputes
In case of dispute and in the absence of an amicable agreement, the competent court shall be the one with jurisdiction over the location of SAS EcoZonia (Perpignan).
1.10 Safety Instructions
Each visitor must read, at the park entrance, the safety conditions before accessing each of the activities offered by SAS EcoZonia. SAS EcoZonia declines all liability in the event of loss of objects in the park or during activities offered by SAS EcoZonia.
1.11 Use of Photos and Videos
Filming or taking photographs for private use is permitted. Filming or photography for professional use is prohibited without prior authorization from management. In the case of films or photographs taken by EcoZonia staff members or a service provider appointed by the company, any person filmed and/or photographed automatically accepts the use and distribution of the images. In case of disagreement, any person must inform the EcoZonia reception staff and complete a form notifying their refusal of image use.
1.12 Boutique Purchases
The client has a right of withdrawal of 14 days following the purchase date of a product in the boutique upon presentation of proof of purchase (receipt). Any product returned damaged and/or opened cannot be refunded.
2.SPECIFIC CONDITIONS – ECOZONIA ZOOLOGICAL PARK
2.1 Ticket Purchase
2.1.1 Ticket purchases are made at the ticket counter of the EcoZonia wildlife park, located at La Coume del Roc RD59 66600 Cases de Pène.
2.1.2 Ticket purchases are made on the website www.ecozonia.fr. Each coded ticket (e-ticket) contains a barcode allowing access to the event for a single spectator. In case of loss, theft, or duplication of a valid ticket, only the first person holding the ticket will be able to access the event. The buyer remains responsible for the use made of the e-tickets. An identity document may be requested.
2.1.2.1 Printing conditions and ticket validity: This ticket is only valid if printed on white A4 paper, blank on both sides, without modification of print size, in portrait format with an inkjet or laser printer. Other supports such as portable screens or mobile phones may be accepted. Tickets must have good printing or readability quality (barcode zoomed on screen). Tickets not readable on screen, with broken screens or insufficient brightness, partially printed, soiled, damaged, or illegible will not be accepted and considered invalid. If print quality is poor, you must reprint your coded ticket to obtain a proper quality.
2.1.2.2 SAS EcoZonia accepts no responsibility for anomalies occurring during your ticket printing, or for breakage when the screen is voluntarily handed to entrance hosts or presented at the automatic kiosk.
2.1.2.3 Ticket use and validity: No entrance purchased through this website may be canceled. For this reason, it is impossible to refund the purchase amount. The single-use ticket is non-exchangeable. It is personal and non-transferable. During checks at the entrance to EcoZonia, official and valid photo ID may be requested to identify the ticket purchaser (passport, driver’s license, ID card, or residence permit). This coded ticket is valid only for one entry to EcoZonia and only during the validity period stated on the e-ticket. In other cases, the ticket will not be valid. You must keep the ticket for the entire duration of your presence at EcoZonia. In case of loss or theft, SAS EcoZonia declines all liability for illicit use of the ticket. Access to EcoZonia is not guaranteed after the ticket office closing time (according to posted hours) and does not entitle the holder to any refund.
2.1.3 Annual Membership
Annual membership purchases are made at the EcoZonia Zoological Park ticket counter. The annual membership is valid for one year from January 1 of the current year.
2.2 Effect of the Order
The Order is firm and final for the Client, who may cancel or modify it only under the conditions set out in the GTCS.
2.3 Prices
2.3.1 The prices of services are those indicated on the brochures of the EcoZonia wildlife par and/or on www.ecozonia.fr They are expressed in euros including VAT. Any change in tax rate may be applied to the service prices. The information on the EcoZonia website may be modified during the season (prices, exceptional closure, construction), and these modifications are made known to the client before reservation confirmation.
2.3.2 They do not include personal expenses of clients within the wildlife park, accommodations, educational activities, or restaurants (including meals).
2.3.4 When the price is based on the children’s age, the age of the children on the first day of the service is taken into account. Proof of age may be requested at any time by EcoZonia staff; without such proof, the adult rate will apply. Likewise, beneficiaries of reduced rates may be asked to provide proof of eligibility.
2.3.5 Group rates and free entries are those indicated on brochures, quotes, and SAS EcoZonia websites. Rates are based on the age of adult visitors and children on the first day of service; free entries are granted depending on the number of visitors per age group.
2.4 Conditions of Services
Access tickets are either subject to an expiration date and valid only for the period mentioned (period ticket), or valid on the date indicated on the ticket (dated ticket).
3 – SPECIFIC TERMS OF SALE – ECOZONIA EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
3.1 Preliminary Conditions
Reservation requests for the organization of educational services must be submitted at least 30 days before the desired date and must be made solely by completing the online form and/or by email to:

Telephone requests will not be processed.
3.2 Reservation
Reservations for educational activities are confirmed only after formal validation by EcoZonia, following receipt of a completed reservation form sent by the applicant and after verification of availability. The reservation confirmation is sent by email.
3.3 Prices
Prices applicable to educational services are those indicated in the brochures for school and extracurricular groups, and/or on the EcoZonia website. Prices are expressed in euros including VAT.
3.4 Payment Terms
Payment conditions are those appearing on the quote or the invoice. Unless otherwise specified, payment must be made on the day of the service, by check, cash, or bank card. Payments by administrative voucher are accepted. Any delay in payment will result in the application of penalties defined by law.
3.5 Modifications Requested by the Client
Any modification request must be submitted in writing, at least 15 days before the scheduled date. EcoZonia reserves the right to refuse changes that would affect the organization, capacity, or availability of the services.
3.6 Cancellation by the Client
Any cancellation must be made exclusively in writing.
– For cancellations made more than 15 days before the date of the service: no fees.
– For cancellations made between 15 days and 48 hours before the service: a flat fee of 50% of the total amount will be invoiced.
– For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the service: 100% of the amount is due.
3.7 Cancellation by EcoZonia
EcoZonia reserves the right to cancel a service in case of force majeure, for safety reasons, or in case of exceptional circumstances making the service impossible. In such cases, EcoZonia may propose a postponement. No compensation may be claimed by the client.
3.8 Liability
Participants must comply with safety instructions and the internal regulations of EcoZonia. EcoZonia declines any liability in the event of non-compliance. Accompanying adults remain responsible for supervising their group at all times.
3.9 Image Rights
EcoZonia may take photos or videos during educational activities. Unless explicitly opposed in writing before the start of the service, the client authorizes the use of these images for communication purposes.
4 – SPECIFIC CONDITIONS – ACCOMMODATION “THE REFUGE”
4.1 Reservation
Reservations for accommodation at Le Refuge are made exclusively on the website www.ecozonia.fr or directly at the EcoZonia reception desk. Any reservation implies acceptance of the present specific terms.
4.2 Prices
Accommodation prices are those displayed on the official EcoZonia website or at reception. They are expressed in euros including VAT. Tourist tax is payable on site. Prices may vary depending on availability or the period.
4.3 Payment Terms
Full payment is required at the time of reservation, unless otherwise stated. Only the payment methods indicated on the website or at reception are accepted.
4.4 Modifications and Cancellations
4.4.1 Modifications
Any modification request must be submitted in writing and is subject to availability. EcoZonia reserves the right to refuse modifications.
4.4.2 Cancellations
– More than 30 days before arrival: 10% fees.
– Between 30 and 7 days before arrival: 50% fees.
– Less than 7 days before arrival: 100% of the stay owed.
No refund in the event of no-show or early departure.
4.5 Security Deposit
A security deposit may be requested on arrival to cover any damage or missing equipment. It will be refunded after inspection of the premises, minus any deductions.
4.6 Internal Regulations
Guests must comply with Le Refuge internal rules. Non-compliance may lead to immediate expulsion without refund.
4.7 Liability
EcoZonia declines any liability for theft or loss of personal belongings inside the accommodations.
5 – SPECIFIC CONDITIONS – RESTAURATION / SNACKING
5.1 Opening Hours
The catering points and snack bars are open according to the schedules displayed at EcoZonia. These schedules may be modified during the season.
5.2 Prices
Prices are displayed at the points of sale. They include VAT. Products sold are neither exchangeable nor refundable.
5.3 Food Allergies
Clients must inform staff of any allergies. EcoZonia cannot be held responsible for reactions suffered in the absence of explicit prior information.
6 – SPECIFIC CONDITIONS – GROUPS / EVENTS / PRIVATIZATION
6.1 Reservation
Any group service must be requested by email or via the appropriate form. The reservation is confirmed only after written validation by EcoZonia following the issuance of a quote.
6.2 Prices
Prices applicable are those appearing on the quote validated by the client.
6.3 Payment
Payment terms are indicated on the quote or invoice. Failing timely payment, EcoZonia may cancel the reservation without compensation.
6.4 Cancellations
– More than 30 days before the event: 20% fees
– Between 30 and 7 days: 50% fees
– Less than 7 days: 100% fees
6.5 Safety
Groups must comply with safety rules. EcoZonia may expel participants endangering the site, without refund.
7 – VARIOUS PROVISIONS
7.1 Pets
Animals are not allowed, except guide dogs or service dogs, upon presentation of proof.
7.2 Parking
Parking is free. It is not guarded. EcoZonia declines all liability in the event of theft or damage.
7.3 Lost and Found
Lost objects are kept for a limited period. After this period, they are donated or destroyed.
7.4 Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor spaces of EcoZonia, as well as in non-smoking outdoor areas indicated by signage.
7.5 Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited within EcoZonia:
– Weapons of any kind
– Dangerous objects
– Alcoholic beverages not purchased on site
– Narcotics
– Drones (unless expressly authorized in writing)
– Any object deemed dangerous by EcoZonia staff
Any prohibited object may be confiscated without compensation.
7.6 Access Restrictions
EcoZonia reserves the right to refuse access to any person whose behavior is inappropriate, dangerous, or contrary to public order, without refund.
7.7 Children
Children remain under the entire responsibility of accompanying adults. Minors may not circulate alone in the park.
7.8 Disturbances
Any person causing nuisance or disturbing animals, visitors, or staff may be expelled without refund.
7.9 Cleanliness
Visitors must respect the cleanliness of the premises. Waste must be placed in the appropriate bins.
8 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content accessible on the EcoZonia website, in brochures, displays, educational materials, videos, and social networks is protected by intellectual property laws.
Any reproduction, distribution, modification, or extraction—partial or total—without prior written authorization is prohibited.
Photography and video are permitted only for private, non-commercial use unless expressly authorized.
9 – LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
9.1 Visitor Responsibility
Visitors must behave prudently and respect safety instructions.
Any accident resulting from non-compliance with instructions cannot be attributed to EcoZonia.
9.2 EcoZonia Liability
EcoZonia is responsible only for direct, proven damages resulting from its own fault.
It cannot be held liable for:
– Force majeure
– Acts of third parties
– Non-compliance with internal regulations
– Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
9.3 Insurance
Visitors are advised to carry personal accident and liability insurance.
Schools and groups must hold appropriate insurance.
10 – PERSONAL DATA (GDPR)
10.1 Processing Purposes
EcoZonia collects personal data for:
– Reservation management
– Client communication
– Compliance with legal obligations
– Safety
– Statistical purposes
10.2 Rights of Data Subjects
In accordance with the GDPR, clients have a right of access, rectification, erasure, limitation, objection, and portability of their data. Requests must be addressed at: contact@ecozonia.fr
10.3 Data Retention
Data is stored for the time necessary to fulfill contractual or legal obligations.
11 – MODIFICATION OF THE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
EcoZonia reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.
The applicable version is the one in force on the date of purchase.
12 – APPLICABLE LAW
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In case of dispute and failing an amicable resolution, jurisdiction lies with the courts of Perpignan.
13 – FINAL PROVISIONS
13.1 Invalidity
If any clause of these GTCS is declared invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force.
